These Department Priorities Need Your Support
Scholarships for undergraduates bring more people into our field. Materials Science and Engineering attracts some of the best undergraduates in the Clark School and scholarship funds can help to assure the success of their success at the start of their career paths.
Graduate fellowships will help us attract the best candidates to our highly productive Ph.D. program. Graduate students form the backbone of our research efforts and will go on to be leaders in industry, academia and government around the world.
Also important to the Department are named professorships. Support for a named professorship will help attract the absolute top faculty to the Department and Clark School, and help ensure that the University of Maryland is a leader in advancing technology and engineering to solve the diverse array of problems confronting society and the world.
