Manufacturing a New Paradigm
Abstract: Additive manufacturing, or 3-D printing, has helped change modern manufacturing. At the heart of this technology is an understanding of the complex relationships with processing, properties, microstructure and design. This talk with explore new developments in AM, including advancements in alloy design, as well as the intersections of advanced manufacturing.
Bio: Dr. Jennifer Wolk is the Division Director for the Office of Naval Research at the United States Navy.
