Materials majors participate in a mentoring program to meet with MSE faculty members or instructors to discuss research activities, specialization areas and career/graduate school options. Mentoring sessions occur prior to registration for the following semester classes.

Students are required to have a mentoring session for a minimum of the three semesters starting prior to registration for classes for their second semester on campus. Students must choose a different faculty member for each mentoring session.

Mentoring forms may be found outside the Assistant Director for Student Services Office at 1113 Chemical and Nuclear Engineering Building, or you may download the mentoring form. (PDF)
