Student team wins best paper award at Mid-Atlantic Micro/Nano Alliance Symposium
Three students from the MEMS Sensors and Actuators Laboratory (MSAL) won the Best Student Poster Award at the 2012 Mid Atlantic Micro/Nano Alliance Symposium, March 27 in Annapolis, Md. Materials Science and Engineering Ph.D. student Brendan Hanrahan and undergraduate researchers Jeremy Feldman (ECE) and Saswat Misra (ECE) won for their research, "Off-the-Shelf MEMS for Rotary MEMS.”
This same team presented their work at the prestigious IEEE MEMS 2012 Conference in Paris, France, at the end of January. The research was well received by colleagues in the international MEMS community. ISR Director Reza Ghodssi (ECE/ISR) is the director of the MSAL lab.
