Takeuchi Review Makes Cover of "Materials Today"

Associate Professor Ichiro Takeuchi's review article on combinatorial materials science has appeared as the cover article in Materials Today. In the article, Takeuchi, Jochen Lauterbach of Univ. of Delaware and Michael Fasolka of NIST discuss how combinatorial and high-throughput approaches are changing the way researchers perform experiments in materials science. Combinatorial experimentation allows simultaneous synthesis and screening of large arrays of different materials. It dramatically accelerates the speed at which new compounds with enhanced physical properties can be identified.
