Takeuchi Wins DURIP Grant

MSE professor Ichiro Takeuchi has received a Defense University Research Instrumentation Program (DURIP) Award for a proposal titled "Instrumentation for Research on Nanostructured Devices Based on Transforming Materials."

The DURIP awards, which are expected to range from $50,000 to $1 million, were created to help university labs purchase research instrumentation that either enhances existing facilities or enables new research.
